Promoters really don't want to share the profits with anyone if they make DVDs, so they're pretty much sitting on footage.

To me, MMA is like the popcorn you buy in the microwavable bag. It's good, you don't complain, you enjoy it, you'd buy it when you feel like it.

          Doesn't compare to movie-bought, fresh-popped popcorn, though.

I said quality networks i.e. not HDNet, frankly not ****e (if we're being honest). Still there's probably far less cards on those channels than the 3 I'd mentioned (and certainly not the licence fee's) but I could bring up all the shows on the Spanish channels to restore the gap. And if we're counting classics forget it.

BTW I'm not bashing MMA more bigging up boxing sucsesses.

What I find really ****** is that all these boxing fans hate MMA yet the sport is cut from the exact same cloth as boxing. The fighters are all cut from the exact same mold and show the same ammount of skill and athletic ability required to be succesfull in their sport.

Oh god forbid a combat sport show more skill sets than just punching.

Seriously MMA and Boxing fans need to stop buying into various promoters marketing techniques that just pit mindless sheep against eachother. To take sides on the MMA vs Boxing debate is completely ****** and is no diffrent than trying to compare Baseball to football.
