Amir Khan to fight Anthony Mezaache next in June!

Rumors are circulating that Amir Khan will fight Anthony Mezaache next in June!

Anthony Mezaache is the recently crowned European Champion, getting a decision over Jon Thaxton.

Amir Khan should beat him easily, but would be a good belt for Khan to have round his waist.

Haven't got a source, but believe me, you heard it here first.

I thought Romanov was the euro champ??? Well it should be good if he was to go through the proper route...European then world route not the WBU or WBO warren route

not really a surprise, mezzach has a poor KO percentage and he fits the bill for an opponent for amir khan.

tough, good ranking, skilled but ultimately with little power.

      khan within 9 rounds.

Wow your behind on the times

Romanov gave up that title last year.

Then Thaxton and Juan Carlos Diaz Melero fought for the vacant title, Thaxton winning in 3.

Then Anthony Mezaache beat Thaxton last month to gain the belt.

No problem, Romanov gave up the title last to pursue his world title aspirations.

Gave Thaxton a second chance to get it after being stopped by Romanov, lucky guy

I respect the European title, and for a prospect to be at that level is fine by me, but if someone is trying to prove themselves as world class then fighting an opponent with a 15-5-3 record isn't the best way to go about it.

Looks like a good match up . It's probably fair to say it's best for him instead of looking at the top 10 lightweights just yet .

Mezaache has 15 wins, 3 inside the distance.

i really am not surprised with the choice of opponent.
