all you need to know is JMM's height, reach and skill. weight has VERY VERY little to do with anything.

Just look at Chagaev vs Valuev. what was that like a 100lbs difference between the two?

gaining 15-20 pounds for JMM won't make a big enough difference to change the fight out come.
Reach? Mayweather has a solid 5-6 inch wingspan advantage on Marquez.

It happens often that fighter's performances suffer as they move up in weight. Can't all be like Pacquiao, or Walker. Mayweather's biggest struggles have been against larger men. And DLH wasn't exactly the most active or prime of fighters anyway.

Heavyweights are just a different case. Valuev is horrible though.

Is this a joke?? As good a fighter as JMM is....to ask him to jump 2 weightclasses to fight mayweather is just plain ridiculous. And Collazo has no business fighting at the elite level. Mayweather might as well fight Margarito who's also now in need of a comeback fight.

its not the point can they beat him ... it going to be almost 2 year lay off, you need a fight to sharpen up and try and get your timing back.

Marquez is an older fighter going up in weight. Mayweather would school him like diaz did, but he wont get hit back as much as often as Diaz got hit by Marquez. It's a good tune-up fight, but he should fight someone better for his comeback.
do you have a clue about boxing at all ??

Diaz couldnt take a good punch ? - his chin is solid just got slowly taken apart and believe it or not JMM can hit hence the little jig Pac did in the second fight,

Mayweather wouldnt fight him anything like diaz did, and also Diaz wasnt schooling JMM he was simply rushing him which left himself open to counters which eventually wore him down

Collazo would've done better than Marquez did.
