Look man, you're a cool guy and all. Floyd could fight a WW bum but to fight a guy who hasn't done **** 140+ is just bull****.

Anyone with half a brain could've figured this out. It's all a clever marketing ploy by PBF. I hope he doesn't come back this year, though - it'll ruin everything.

Not at all, even I was extremely pissed at DLH for fighting Pac. And this is coming from a hardcore DLH fan.

Pacman would get killed by a Cotto or Mosley or Margarito.

Fighting a guy at 147 who hasn't made the weight in years is very different to holding the Ring Belt at the weight.

The fact is, Floyd fans didn't have a problem fighting Baldomir at 147 for the title.

It is a bit hypocritical to now claim he's too small to fight Mosley and Cotto there.

Cotto fans wanting to fight Pacman, Pac isn't a legit WW either.
Floyd is not a big welterweight and he started his career at super featherweight, while Marquez started at featherweight. Huge difference, my bad.

There's no doubt in my mind Floyd could make 140 no problem. Hatton probably wanted the fight at 147 because of the belts. I don't have any evidence on why it was at 147 though, sorry.

DLH is bigger than Cotto. Cotto-Pacman is a much closer matchup size wise. I don't really care about that fight though, and I'm a Cotto fan. It's a lose-lose for Cotto.

Damn, the PBF hate is thick in this thread, huh? I agree that him and JMM probably won't happen, but if it did, it would be because JMM is a little too brave for his own good. That's not PBF's fault. And JMM would give PBF one helluva fight no matter how it goes. I saw someone mention the PBF/Hitman fight, and why he didn't go to 140, because PBF had a belt, and Ricky thought he had a chance at getting it.

Without the 5 titles Floyd is still the best..just look at the daily threads made by his haters, lovers, and nutthuggers..hes hated mostly because of his flamboyant style hiss skills and talent are ignored by those who get caught up in his Boxing Character..hes the bad guy and u gotta love him because u want ur favorite fighter to fight him..thats when ur the best..when u have people demanding ur downfall but u just wont go down

Marquez got rocked by a light puncher at 135lbs. What makes you think he can fight effectively at 140 or 147 at 35?

If Mayweather comes back to fight Marquez/Pacman, he will make the weight class slightly higher than what they would want, mark my words.

He'll only fight Marquez at 140 and Pacman at 147.
