How the fk was that a headbutt? your obviously completely biased, they both went for a punch leaning in and clashed heads in the middle, barrera just came off alot worse

What did u want khan to do...refuse to fight just because barrera is a legend? if no one stops the fight you gotta carry on. And anyway they clashed heads so early how could you say he only started dominating after the clashed....its obvious after a few more rounds khan would of started to dominate anyway, hes got way to much energy for barrera to handle

if mab can get a title shot then he should go for that. i dont think he will be looking for a rematch against khan, and he will excuse himself by saying that they robbed him of a NC.

I agree, although what you failed to mention is, the two clean punches that Barrera nailed him with, made Khans body look like he had an electric shock going through his body!

              Why?

The same thing would probably happen (aside from the Cut).

Barrera would struggle to get on to the inside, and is way to slow for Khan.

Are you kidding me? They were no worse than what Khan was doing to Barrera.

Khan did not even look close to being hurt.

Thats complete drivel. Show me any part of the fight where Barrera got rocked. No need for me to post, the two vids of Khan have already been posted.

Yeah he never looked like he was hurt, but his reaction to the two shots was still there for all to see.

No disrespect intended, but I hate this cliché.

For me, it's not the fact that he beat a one-eyed, ancient fighter, nor is it the fact that he might have still won even if the cut hadn't occurred, it's how he boasted to the press afterward about "proving everybody wrong", gloating about his "win". Anyone who isn't biased can see he didn't prove anything that we didn't already know, and this "win" is nothing to be proud of. It was merely a cheap way of stamping a big name onto Khan's lackluster resume in an attempt to salvage a career that was dwindling due to being laid out in 54 seconds (including the time he spent on the canvas) by an unknown Columbian who, foolishly, was mistakenly fed to him as another tomato can that he could blow out.

Barrera deserves a rematch. That's if he asks for one, which I'm not sure he even will, because personally, if I was Marco, I would have second thoughts about performing in England again. The only way I would be prepared to do such a thing is if I could call the shots, choose the referee and judges, etc. Unfortunately, I don't think Barrera is in any kind of position to do this.

As a boxing fan and a long-time Barrera fan, I do not appreciate how he was used as fodder for a young, up-and-coming prospect to feast on in order to build a name for himself. It's a meaningless "win" and it hasn't gained Khan any respect.

As for Khan the boxer, no doubt he has talent, but in my opinion, people are putting way too much stock into someone who lacks one absolutely crucial ingredient -- a chin. I have no doubt that he will be knocked out by any decent lightweight pretty much as quickly as he is being hyped by the media and casual fans of the sport.

Not a hate post. Just callng it how I see it.

A re match would be good for both their sakes, there's no reason for it not too happen. It either proves Kahn is back and he'd go into the fight full of confidence or it will let Barrera get some of his pride back and prove that the first fight was decided unfairly.
