Mayweather Jr. vs. JCC***(Prime for Prime)))

Castillo is almost a perfect copy of Chavez, except Chavez is better in almost every way.
Castillo gave Mayweather the two hardest fights of his career, and while Floyd did win the rematch that fight was still very close.
Chavez by decision, loses early rounds but takes over on the inside later on.
Whitaker and Mayweather do not fight alike. me and wmute actually have a pretty good discussion of this in the Fantasy Fights section.(that I won, of course)
I hate when people state that Whitaker and Mayweather have the same styles which is bull. Anyone that has seen plenty of their fights and understands the game sees the difference in each fighter.
Yes, they are both defensive fighters, but their defense is different from one another. Whitaker dodges and slips and is more mobile than Floyd. The Chavez fight is a perfect example. We've never seen Floyd utilize the kind of defense Whitaker did in that fight. Stylistically, in the defensive department, Whitaker's defense is more of a problem to Chavez than Mayweather's.
Look at the Baldomir and DLH fights. Floyd isn't as "elusive" as his most devoted fans think. Floyd lets fighters get close to him, but he nulls the punches thrown by the fighters by rolling and slightly slipping then.
He gets HIT, but ineffectively.
Against Chavez, you cannot do that. The same Floyd that fought Castillo would lose to Chavez as much as Floyd would beat him. Meaning that to me, its up in the air with a slight edge to Chavez. Chavez can work close proximities more effectively than Castillo or any other fighter Floyd has faced.Comment

stop.
Floyd isn't the best representative of the label "Champion". You know that. He's a great fighter, possibly the greatest of this area, but "great champion" he is not. Great champions continue to seek challenges no matter what stage of their career they are in. Floyd abandoned that label many a years ago.Comment

The opening part is all true. There is no denying it.

and Chavez is better in every way than Castillo.
Chavez had problems with volume punchers, NOT boxers. Meldrick Taylor threw around 80-100 punches a round, and in lightning fast combinations. when Floyd was forced to fight against Castillo's pressure, his punch output dropped considerably and he ended up falling back on just potshotting to win the second Castillo fight.
If you look at Chavez's career, he never had trouble with guys who did that.
but still, Mayweather is such a good fighter that it would be a real close fight, but he just wont be able to do enough damage to win more than 5 or 6 rounds.Comment

I firmly believe Whitaker's left handed stance is one of the MAIN reasons, he was able to negate Chavez attacks. Mayweather is not left handed though.Comment

Mayweather is not Whitaker. Instead of using Whitaker as an example as to why Floyd would beat JCC (Which is dumb) use Frankie Randall, Floyd is a much better boxer then RandallComment
