The other forums said I had bad footwork and my hands weren't high enough.I thought for sure my footwork was correct and my hands were right too.

I am trying to stop droping my hand to the side when i do combos because it leaves myself unprotected I believe.

Also, I am white with 13 races in me and I used to have long hair down to my waist and I just shaved it all off.
when you go to the body dont drop ya hand until your ready to throw and dip to the side..ex.when going right to the body dip to the right and keep ya left high..that way you get maximum leverage on the punch..keep up the work

A book that I found really good especially for punching power was "Championship Fighting" by the one and only Jack Dempsey.

I got mine years and years ago and don't know if it's still available, but if you can find a copy I'm sure it will help you.

Wrong forum mate, go to the training and nutrition part and you will get more serious feedback... I am no expert myself I have only just started so I doubt I would be able to give you loads of advice.

Not bad, you are a lot better than when you started... you keep your guard up well and remember never to drop it, when throwing a punch don't telegraph it... snap your punch and once you have hit it bring it straight back to the neutral guard. As larryx said, when going down to the body dip down a bit so your guard is more whole and secure... that way you are still fully protecting yourself when throwing powerful punches downstairs!

That is a little bit of advice... I am not saying you did these things wrong, I am just saying if you remember them then you will learn it faster... keep practicing you'll get there in no time!

Could I ask you, what hand are you? A lefty or righty?

bro, my best adviste is to sign up in a boxing gym

you get proper guidance and equipment there, you can practice on your own once you have the basics down
