Same comment on the body shot,, and a couple more quick ones
To be frank the uppercut on vid 2 @ 1:31 wouldn't knock the skin off a rice pudding (to quote my grandad, god rest him),
The uppercut is a short close in punch not an arm swing, dip your body down and to the side slightly and kinda bring the punch from your chin, if you get me. Get your bodyweight into it.. one fast motion
You might find it easier wearing lighter gloves 10oz - 12oz, they look like 16oz or more sparring gloves.. are they ?
how long have you been boxing ? do you box at a club aswel as at home, you were ok, a little slow but decent power, keep up the good work but try to be a little less rigid i think slightly robotic,
thanks guys. I've only been training for one week by myself, I am teaching myself at home by videos on youtube and articles I read and advice from forums.
The other forums said I had bad footwork and my hands weren't high enough.I thought for sure my footwork was correct and my hands were right too.
I am trying to stop droping my hand to the side when i do combos because it leaves myself unprotected I believe.
Also, I am white with 13 races in me and I used to have long hair down to my waist and I just shaved it all off.
