Any sensible manager would turn down a judge and/or ref that he believes to be biased or incompetent. Anything can happen in boxing, and just because you expect your fighter to win easily doesn't mean a professional manager shouldn't cover all bases. No one should read anything into this, other than that Boente is doing his job.
It's about time that fighters and their teams start standing up to the imposition of crooked and incompetent (usually both) referees and judges.
