Yea the guy died. Not as a direct result of the accident, but indirectly because he became depressed after the accident and i think drunk himself to death.

ah ok thanks I never knew that, you can't blame him for the aftermath of what happened but it is definitely irresponsible and I hope he has learned from it, what happened later is very sad. Im glad khan decided to sell the carComment

see now theres a reason ! however most people arent basing their hate towards him off that they just hate on him because it seems like the flavour of the week , the same reason so many people are also on his **** too .How about when he was driving his luxury BMW way over the speed limit, over-taking cars in the wrong lane, ran a red light and knocked down a 50yr old man, breaking his leg. The man then lost his job, spiralled into depression and died a year later. The widow blamed her husbands downfall on the accident. Khan was also then fined for driving 140 mph on the motorway. This and the fact he talks a load of rubbish, fights school teachers, thinks a win over a one-eyed Barrera because of a head clash proves the critics wrong, and erases the memory of a 54 second KO against an unknown.
as for the clash of heads , its not like it was his fault doctors said fight barerra said he didnt wanna stop so be it he made his own bed , and khan did what was asked of him , fight .Comment

That pretty much sums it up in my opinion. How about when he was driving his luxury BMW way over the speed limit, over-taking cars in the wrong lane, ran a red light and knocked down a 50yr old man, breaking his leg. The man then lost his job, spiralled into depression and died a year later. The widow blamed her husbands downfall on the accident. Khan was also then fined for driving 140 mph on the motorway. If a fighter was allowed to fight no matter what the ref/doc thought, there would be no such thing as a technical knock out.see now theres a reason ! however most people arent basing their hate towards him off that they just hate on him because it seems like the flavour of the week , the same reason so many people are also on his **** too .
as for the clash of heads , its not like it was his fault doctors said fight barerra said he didnt wanna stop so be it he made his own bed , and khan did what was asked of him , fight .
Barerra couldn't see the cut, they could.
After going into the corner and watching blood literally squirt out as the cutman applies his mix to the wound and it's not closing at ALL, it's an obvious sign that if touching it doesn't help, then a panch/rub/knock even a clinch probably wont do it too much good either.
Even if Barerra said he wanted to continue, two or three rounds more of watching an unfixable three inch gash to the bone squirting blood should've made something tick in their brains.
Doesn't matter what Barerra thought, they're there to stop the fight when a boxer isn't fit to continue and that's not what they did (not until Amir could walk away with the W anyway).
Also, the fact that Khan thinks he was the biggest factor in both Barerras performance and the stoppage makes me think he's a bit of a knobcake.Last edited by GrizzleBoy; 03-16-2009, 10:29 PM.Comment

Ahhh, minion. So you wouldn't be happy to see Joe lose? I mean, this is twice I've seen you fire back for someone hating on Khan, but you appear to have some double standards thing going on mate.
