Seriously mate, you sound like your gonna take your My little pony to bed with you and have a weep under the covers.
Oh, I should have known you'd take offense at a ****** joke about growing an afro because it's obvious you're black and don't have a sense of humor. Duh! Silly me!

Yes, My Little Pony Rules. He comforts me in times of terrible trouble, like right now. I'm sobbing... unable to hold back the tears... I think you've... you've ruined my life...

All these guys do is cry about Calzaghe every day for years, complaining about how they've "been cheated" and what a "fraud" he is, and now pulling out ancient articles from a blatantly corrupt promoter as if it aids their cause... and then they accuse other people of crying?

It's just pathetic, bitchy, and they clearly have nothing better to do than define themselves through hating a certain fighter and forming bonds through this ******ed mutual dislike.

Fucking amazing! But also quite sad.
No one is really allowed to say anything objective about Calzaghe on here without his fanboys getting lemon and calling you a 'hater' in the process. The whole 'Hater', 'Nuthugger' thing works both ways IMO.

Frank Warren probably made a lot of that up because he's well known bull****ter, but some of that article i find believable to be honest.

Took Joe 15 years to tell Frank to sling his hook! Why?

              Good post, pretty fair too.

There's definitely some truths in it, it's just to the extent and way Warren goes is not so, he has such a past history of bull ****ting on his past fighters and just any, that it just lacks weighty credibility.

Calzaghe did fly over to the states a number of times chasing and promoting fights. He shoulda fecked Warren off earlier for sure, and obviously finally started to have enough when he insisted on the Kessler fight which Warren wasn't keen on doing because it lost him money. I'm sure from that fight onwards Calzaghe woulda liked to be a free agent. Hinesight though, he does take some blame.

I agree with you, actually, but sometimes you might as well speak in a language that "these types" understand. It's not my fault they haven't evolved yet.

Here's one thing i think about a lot, it's almost sad.

Frank Warren's biggest prize fighters over lets say, the last 15-20 years were

                  A. Naseem Hamed.

                  B. Ricky Hatton.

                  C. Joe Calzaghe.

Like Joe, Naz and Ricky got by on a steady diet of mandatories and sold out arenas around the UK?

Naz and Ricky at different point of there respected careers thought no, i want these fights and i want it on these terms, so they decide to break away from Frank and go it alone.

Is it coincidence that both guys went on to get big fights in the states and both generate themselves a huge wealth AFTER splitting form Frank Warren?

And i also find it hard to believe Joe didn't stand back and watch what these guys went on to do with their careers and think, ''Hold on a minute, these guys are making a fortune and getting big fights, why ain't i?''

I could **** on about this crap for hours, but i found it very odd at why Joe was so loyal to Frank for all them years and then deciding that at the end of his career, he finally wised up and knew it was actually Frank holding him back all along.

It can't just be me thinking about this?

They also both got in the ring with 2 modern day legends in their prime and both got spanked.

At least they tried. Fighting the best should be respected, and Ricky got nearly £15m from that fight with Mayweathter. That would've helped the heartache of being knocked out!
