I don't watch MMA much, but the punch that Fedor KTFO Arlovski with looked very hard.

I've seen some other impressive KO's before when watching MMA. I think that anyone who can knock someone old cold with one punch probably has a lot of power.

That may be a different one than I'm thinking of. I know on the National Geographic channel they had a show called 'Fight Science' and they used a middle-aged, nobody as the heavyweight boxing representative.

Besides, what logical reason would make anyone think that the average punch of an MMA fighter, jacks all trades, masters of none, would have a better average punch than boxer who's sport revolves around punching?

Do these techniques generate greater power with a straight right hand? If so, why have these techniques not been adapted in boxing over the last 100 + years?

Him running a top school is irrelevant. The fact of the matter is that he has no business representing heavyweight boxers considering he is a middle-aged, nobody in the boxing world.

Fight science and the Human Weapon series which are both on the history channel already proved that boxers were the hardest overall punchers but MMA fighters have just as much behind their punches as the average boxer does.

I know you guys love to think that these MMA guys are nothing more than bar brawlers but the truth is they work on their boxing skills just as much as most boxers do.
