            Something to consider:

            If he goes up and loses to Abraham, is he still a player at 154? Yes.

            If he loses to Martinez, is he in a position to get any big fights at 154 or 160? No.

            Clearly Martinez is actually the riskier proposition, even though I think Abraham KOs him.

                That is actually a really good point. Even if he is ko'd by Abraham and Martinez is by that time bumped up to full championship status he will still be there for Forrest because what Martinez lacks is a name on his resume(that he wasn't stopped by) and Forrest is, belt or no belt the most well established fighter at 154.....best move financially for Forrest.
