Khan-Barrera, Mexico Outrage: Weekend Report Card

By Cliff Rold - It was a pay-per-view worth more than the price tag and yet it was far from the weekend’s sole highlight. In the end, Britain’s Amir Kahn (20-1, 15 KO) stood tall both literally and figuratively, perhaps adding an end to the long run of Mexican great Marco Antonio Barrera while, back in Barrera’s homeland, one of the sport’s more questionable recent endings took place to cap off a strong weekend in the ring. I think Khan's defense should be given a better grade now.

And Abraham is not exactly at light heavyweight.

Don't know why I wrote that; brain fart and missed it on review. Being fixed.

The only time he's gone 12 was against St. Clair and he didn't get pushed much in that fight, so it's hard to say how good his stamina is. It shouldn't be an A just yet.

And his defense has improved but not that much, a B maybe.

Khans chin F. Barrera would have dropped him if it wasn't for the cut.

in your dreams lol.. barrera would have got ko'd if it wasnt for the cut..BADLY!! any how he lost so its all good..

khan should get an A++ for speed
upgrade to a b for defense which improved significantly

Khan got hit by a punch and got rocked... yea doesn't this usually happen when you get punched and I think the term rocked is overused since it was more of him being off balance giving the impression and given the fact he was dazzed in previous fights auto means that he was rocked when in fact he was taking a punch like anyone else.

Naseem used to flail about all the time, no one mentions that he got rocked.
