Grustler, do u really think floyd has better comp at 147 than cotto? It's not close. Stop writing so much, you get all excited and start spewing crap like mr all talk no walk mayfeather. If money really was a fighter he would have a resume like shane. Shane fights certified badasses in their primes at their weights. Gayweather runs from those guys. at least cotto does the same.

I think floyd beats cotto too, but I don't know for sure cuz he is so scared to fight threats. He is probably waiting to see the effect of the fight withargarito.

        "Hid Cotto"?
If that's how you see it. I don't even have to argue the past to get my point across about Floyd's choice of opposition coming back TODAY.
Bob Arum did say that Miguel Cotto wasn't ready for Mayweather Jr and Hatton at 140 and I will be posting that article SOON. Why are you trying to discredit Juan Manuel Marquez? He fought the P4P #1, Boxer/Fighter in the World to a stand still both times? If your calling him a cherry then obviously you don't know anything about Boxing or your just acting blind because of your dislike of Floyd Mayweather Jr.

In that Video Mayweather was chasing De La Hoya for the big $ fight that Arum said he couldn't get. Mayweather is too smart for guys like Cotto/Margarito/Mosley, inside and outside of the ring. Speaking of Mosley, He was helping Oscar train for Mayweather by TRYING to duplicate Floyd's boxing style and look how far that got Oscar. You guys can't hang with me or my FACTS & reasoning because it's more then someone being scared to fight & I'm not convinced as a boxing fan that Floyd was. Floyd just made himself a house hold name even more so after he retired. Mosley's looking for a big $ fight but Floyd is the big $ fight, you guys should get a clue.
Didn't I flush this guy already?

I guess it's appropriate, You come back spewing B.S. on B.S. eh?

This isn't even about Floyd not being popular, or not being 'smart'.
          Cause he's BOTH.

This is about Floyd not fighting the toughest opposition. You discredit Cotto, and don't question Marquez?

He would beat Pacman but Paul Williams and maybe even Shane Mosely. Mosley is pretty quick and has more power than Zab Judah whom I felt was his quickest opponent. But Pacman,Cotto and even Clottey would not be that hard for him.

              Whoa!
I specifically remember Cotto ADMITTING to not being ready for Floyd & Hatton...that was a long time ago.
This ain't about the past, so come out of it already amigo!

I think JMM IS AN AWESOME fighter!........But I'm saying Floyd once again is fighting someone he's 100% SURE of beating.

              Blind?
I'm not being blind cause of any hate. I don't even HATE mayweather. I'm a HUGE fan of the welter weight division. And right now we should be calling for the BEST FIGHTS! You call JMM vs Floyd the best fight?!?!?!?!

I am a big fan of Floyd and all and wouldn't dislike him at all if he was to fight Marquez but I would be slightly disappointed because I would rather see him fight either; Cotto, Mosley, Pacquiao. Although for all we know he could accept the Marquez fight as a tune-up before facing better opposition (not saying he would or wouldn't, I am just saying there is a possibility). That is if this is true though, obviously there isn't any proof and I would have to see it before I believe it.

Your boys a PUNK! That is why he used the excuse of retirement. He couldn't take the heat of the WW division. He punked out. And every other boxer is still fighting. What is ur excuse for him?

So Floyd should build his comeback around Jotto because now Jotto's fans think he is ready for Floyd? Jotto is not ready mentally its just his fans believe he is..
