But when Floyd Mayweather Jr was active he was considered the best in the world and sport of Boxing, so what did he have to prove? Cotto/Margarito/Williams/Clottey had to prove that they were worth fighting. And for the record Miguel Cotto is 5'7" so Floyd is still bigger than him and JMM so your saying he shouldn't fight Cotto because Cotto is 5'7" like JMM?

Skill wise yes JMM is tougher. If u r just talking about weight of course Cotto. But Floyd toys with Cotto. Same way he had trouble getting to Margs body he will have the same trouble with Floyd. Cotto has proven he has no plan "b". He doesnt know how to adjust in a fight.
