I had it 115-113 Cotto. Could see an outside argument for a draw, but no way did Shane win and he needs to quit whining about where a rematch would take place. It takes place where fans will attend - oddly enough, the last time Shane could claim to be a draw was in the late 90's/early 00's, and it was on the East Coast, in fact The Theatre (below the Garden). Any card these days where he's on the A-side of the billboard (v. collazo, v. Mayorga, etc), crickets can be heard.

i personally scored the fight as a draw though i was not mad when i heard the decision , close fight but one thing is mosely def did not win draw at best. had cotto not ran away for the last few rounds and won at least one of them, he could have won without any debate.

Alot of people had it 7-5 Cotto...1 round away from being a draw, not to mention Shane was the aggressor, so how can someone be labeled as DUMB for scoring it a draw?

No Silly, not "dumb" Just Mexican or Dominican. You people are obsessed with taking credit away from Puerto Ricans. The level of nationalistic BS is outrageous. Crabs in a barrel. We have like 5 Dominicans on this forum and not 1 EVER has anything positive to say about ANY PR fighter. It's transparent....Team Platano has what... 1 figher and his name is Joan?? Fights 3 classes below his real weight.... weak.

Cotto 7-5. Mosley looked dumb in the final 2 rounds chasing Cotto and being punched in the face for his efforts. He was desperate in the final rounds cause he himself knew he was down n the fight.

          Haters 101.

cotto was running in that last 3 rounds. he got the W, so that's cool. but he must rematch mosley on neutral ground.

Why do you keep holdin on to that? LOL...so you're basically blaming MSG for Mosley's loss. Cotto OUTLANDED Mosley from rounds 9-11 and landed the more significant shots.

I don't see what the issue is. Let it go dude lol

I know you don't think Vegas is "neutral" right?

Cotto beat Mosley convincingly. You could see it on Shane's face... He knows he was losing and knows he lost.

all i'm saying is that it was a close fight and i'm ok with cotto gettting the decision in msg. now let's see them fight on neutral ground.

then a fight on neutral ground should be no problem for you.

are we judging boxing matches based on boxer's faces after the fight now?

vegas is neutral. its closer to california, but mosley's fanbase isn't that big anyways.

It doesn't make a difference where they fought (or will fight). There IS such things in boxing as CLOSE fights. Not everyone has to win by KO or with a 117-111 decision for people to be totally convinced.

The simple fact that you even mention them fighting on neutral ground is a cop out because the only other places where a Mosley rematch would be made are in Vegas or California...and you're telling me those aren't Mosley's hometowns? Either way, it doesn't matter. Both fighters looked good, but Cotto had the upper hand overall...end of story.
