*In Your Opinion* Was Cotto-Mosley a "hometown" decision?

What did Mosley do in your opinion that gave him a bigger edge than what the judges scored?

He was even in terms of punches thrown/landed, had the better pwoer punches land, made cotto fight backpedaling and showed good ring generalship....

For it to be a unanimous decision was all wrong....but **** it, thats how shady **** goes down sometimes.....if it was at least a SD then i'd understand....do i think it was a robbery, no, but a UD? gimme a break

This fight was in MSG Nov/07..in Cotto's backyard..

Now many people yell "hometown victory" others have claimed the win as legit and would've went the same at any other venue..

He outboxed the "boxer" in rounds 9-12 where people claim he "ran"..

He landed the cleaner harder shots more!..now Mosley did land some nice rights and nice uppercuts..but Cotto landed the cleaner shots more ..from when he turned southpaw the straight left..to when he was orthodox the left jab and straight right was movin mosley..

that's what I feel he did..on top of the fact that he won 7 out of the 12 rounds IMO..

Voted No. I thought it was close I would have to watch it again. ThI remember being frustrated at Mosley for not throwing uppercuts which Cotto has always been open for. I thought if he threw some he could have changed the tide of the fight. I thought the ref stopping the fight in round 10 after Mosley hurt Cotto to clean up water was BULL**** at the time. You wait till there is a lull in action to call time. Watch it again, that gave Cotto time to recover. Sometimes you have to watch a fight with your eyes more than your ears. Because HBO commentators will always highlight punches by the guy they are supporting which in this case would have been Cotto. His opponent could hit him with a three punch combo with Cotto throwing a punch and they will mention the punch that Cotto threw even if it was clearly blocked or missed LOL.

Mosley fought like a punk thinking he would blast Cotto out. Cotto fought well but with his chin and heart i think Mosley at 70% of the Marg fight stops him mid fight.
