Would Barrera Take a Khan Rematch? PolL

It's been argued that the fight deserves a rematch because of the cut stoppage but I never heard mention that Barrera requested a rematch. When he was asked what he was going to do next he said he'd talk with his family and Don King, he didn't say he wanted a rematch with Khan. It's possible that, after sharing the same ring, he believes Khan is too much at this stage of his career (cut or no cut) which would then put his comeback journey into doubt.

Yes. He'd take it without hesitation.

No. It's too tough a fight at this stage of his career.

Maybe. It depends on his family and Don King.

I think he would take it to try and clear his name and land a lucky punch. But it would be the same results except it would be a 12 round ownage.

Without a shadow of a doubt.

True, I can see it going a similar way at this stage of their careers. Prime Barrera would have been too much for this version of Khan I think, although Khan probably isn't in his prime yet. Shame the cut happened so early creating doubt around the validity of the fight.

Barerra would take a rematch, but Khan would savagely beat him for 12 rounds to a UD, or possibly TKO him late. Cut or no cut I do not think Barerra would have been able to take all of those shots he was gettign hammered with for 12.

Maybe, although I don't think he'll be offered one.

He should retire. He's had a great career but it's time to hang 'em up.
