No way Hopkins-Adamek is a PPV. HBO is doing less PPVs than last year, and last year Hopkins-Calzaghe wasn't even a ppv, so I don't expect the UFC card to take many potential viewers.

Those 3 fights alone will draw in more than 1million buys, and im sure Dana will stack this card with about 2-3 more high profile fights. PPV vs PPV, UFC 100 will smash Hopkins vs Ademek.
Which is probably why they won't have it as a PPV fight. Hopkins-Adamek is going to draw fans because of Adamek's polish fans, and Hopkins being from Philly, so they'll probably just bank on the event drawing live fans.

That card will sell many ppvs, but personally I have no interest in any of those fights. I think Mir is just hype for beating a **** version of Nog and capitalizing on a rookie mistake by Lesnar, I want GSP to win and expect him to do it fairly easily, and I could care less who wins between Bisping and Henderson.

The people that will tune in wont give a **** about Adamek/Hopkins anyway. Most wont even know who Thomasz Adamek is. It's different audiences.

I dont see how u see Frank Mir as a "Hype job". He was at his best prior to his motorcycle injury that sidelined him for 2yrs. Its not as if he was a nobody who came out of left field and beat nog and lesnar.

Im a fan of both sports. Difference is, I'll pay to see UFC 100, and although i'll watch Hopkins/Ademek, that is not something that i'll pay for. As much as boxing snobs hate White, he sure knows how to put on a great show and gives his fans thier money's worth.

It makes no difference if he was champ before his accident, or a nobody with recent victories. I'm not talking about his overall resume, I'm talking about how good he is now. He beat a Nog who looked like a near blind 55-year old man, and everyone is praising his striking. Slow lead uppercuts won't work against Lesnar.

I just think Adamek vs Hopkins will lose the general audience to the UFC that night. Everyone is anticipating UFC 100, fans or not.
