I wish all bars would wake up and show fights so I could watch them whenever. Probably wouldn't be profitable for them unfortunately.

I've no idea but anywhere I've been in the world Irish bars usually have English premiership football and boxing.

Yeah, seriously. You gave them all the times. You gave every timezone, no one cared.

Since it's an English PPV, I was sort of in the mood to try out a pub to watch it here in NYC. Last weekend I went to Jackson Heights, Queens and didn't find anything. There's an Irish place called Starting Gate in Woodside that supposedly shows boxing, but the bartender lady looked at me strange and said no when I asked her if they would be showing the fight.

Last Tuesday, I swung by Jack Demseys in Manhattan and one of the ladies that worked there didn't know if they were showing it. She said to call back on Friday, but I didn't. I also swung by the Playwright Bar on 49th St. but signs announced an Irish rugby and/or futbol game starting that morning around 11 am with a $20 cover. I figured after both games it would be hard to find a good spot to watch the fight (if there even showing it, I'm not sure) in there anyways, so I've decided to buy the PPV, get some San Miguel from Trader Joe's, a late Mexican lunch and stay home. Although if Barrera wins, my drunk ass might go crazy and hit a strip club tonight... something I shouldn't do because I don't want to waste money. But please, Barrera win!
