    POLL: Barrera SHOT or NOT?

Is Barrera shot? If Khan go's out there tonight and destroys him like i think he will everyone will say oh Marco was shot Khan still sux ass blah blah blah

I dont think he is, i think he has DEFO slipped a bit at 35 and at LW but three fights ago he had Marquez on his ass on route to a decision loss and also not long ago went 12 with Pac (*1 and 2 in the p4p ranks no less) His comeback has been at LW against bums but it will have gave him a feel for the weight at least.

But Khan will be Too Big Too Fresh Too Fast and snappy for Barrera at this point, he aint shot but i make him like 65% of what he was

There's no clear favourite in this fight so i think it's fair to say if Khan wins, he fought a game Barrera. People seem to find it hard to distinguish boxers who are not prime and shot fighters. There is a differense, and i don't think Barrera is shot.

Past his best but not shot.

If he was a 10 when he beat Hamed, he is a 6 now. This is a big step up for Khan as it would be for any other young boxer.

I'd go with 'not shot, but past his prime'. Doesn't matter, of course.. to most it will be Barrera win = not shot, Khan win = shot. Doesn't matter how the fight plays out.

Shot is a bit over used. Jose Luis Castillo is shot. So my answer would be no.
He is, however, 35 years old, extremely high mileage, and well above his prime weight class.

How can we say MAB is not shot now when Pac haters says Pac has beaten a shot MAB?

If you look at fighters like JMM , Hopkins and Mosley who are all 35 and above it's hard to say . How much dows Barrera look after himself in between fights ? What happens if he starts pulling off performances like them 3 ? . Barrera hasn't even been tested at lightweight really , all he's fought is a couple of bums at the weight so this fight could motivate him
