Shot is a bit over used. Jose Luis Castillo is shot. So my answer would be no.
He is, however, 35 years old, extremely high mileage, and well above his prime weight class.

So Castillo is shot, but Barrera, who's the same age, has been a pro longer (over 19 years) ,has been in more fights (72) and fought over 100 more rounds (469,) isn't? Explain.

I don't think he's shot but these things can literally change overnight. His performances of late have been up and down however there was more than enough in the performances against Marquez and Pacquiao to suggest he could give Khan problems which is why I'm tipping him to secure the knockout.
