To his credit, Ricky won against Paulie, but perhaps Paulie didn't serve as great a tune up for Manny as there could have been.

The x factor in Ricky's performance will be how well he has been incorporating the coaching of Floyd Sr. and his execution of it come fight night.

Ricky didn't appear shot against Paulie and could turn the tables on Manny's winning streak if his stars align correctly on May 2.

If he does grow old against Manny, but loses on his feet, he should consider re-learning a lot of what brought him to the top in terms of fighting strategy.
i'm sorry, are you talking about jenning's? you cannot think that jenning's is better than paulie?

you're just a big ol' can o' crazzzzzzzzzy!

Many people seem to consider Jennings was better than Paulie, but seriously how can that be? jennings was english for one!

          okay......

first you make comparisons between malignaggi and pacquiao.

now you are bringing up how he never scored a knockdown on oscar.

          brilliant!

how many times have you seen oscar knocked down or even hurt in his career? 1 ko loss from 130-160 fighting guys like mosley , chavez , tito , vargas , mayorga......and that ko loss was a body punch from a huge , atg middleweight.

did floyd knock oscar down? last i heard he ktfo hatton with one punch.

pacquiao had enough pop to hurt oscar. pacquiao had enough pop to ktfo david diaz who was a light-welterweight amateur and had half of his fights at 140-147.

believe me. pacquiao has enough pop for hatton.

i think pacquiao knocks out hatton earlier than he did to diaz.

              neither did i.

i know a lot of guys were rooting for a paulie but i don't think the majority felt that paulie would beat hatton.

people were complaining that he was fighting paulie!

some felt he should fight bradley or witter or holt or torres.

he didn't want to risk his upcoming megabucks fight with the oscar/pac winner plus paulie was #1 so excusable.

                  can't blame him.

i favor pac over hatton but i think holt , torres , witter , bradley , etc. might ktfo pac at 140.
