How good of a win was Calzaghe's win over Kessler

Read that before Bat and I don't think that holds anywhere near as much weight as the numerous other things he's said. It's a matter of which you believe, numerous articles and video's where he's convingly, firm, going out of his way to say he's fine, or a few where he's saying it was a big deal. Note he still there doesn't even word it as a main reason he lost, or even why he said previously he was fine.
There's just too many inconsistencies there, and I think you have to be very favourable to believe it all. His biggest ever fight he says he's fine loads of times, then a few times he contradicts himself says he wasn't. You say he's telling truth this time and lying before, he's nice guy, I say nice guy but bending the truth at varying times to deal with the loss. I find that to be far more credible and likely given everything.
I've defended Kessler so many times and do credit some hand issues, but to this extent is ridiculous, and with 09 largely written of for him again I'm frankly losing my patience with it all, there's too many excuses.

An interview during his preparations to fight Sartison:
The Danish challenger insists that he damaged right hand he suffered in the months leading up to Cardiff fight bears its share of blame that the perfomance at Millennium Stadium was never optimal.
"If a footballer because of a footinjury is not able to train full force in the months leading up to a finals, yes, he will, with reasonable assurance be missing crucial timing and ball feeling, when it goes away. Thats obvious.
But the hand was treated, so it did not hurt when I walked into the ring, and through all 12 rounds I could use it without any pain or problems of any kind."
Kessler also says he fought the wrong fight, but that's just a sidenote.
I cannot copy the Boxingscene interview.
What's said before a fight is never credible. Any fighter will always say that his in the shape of his life and that he has had the best camp ever.
