I'm one of his biggest fans (and wouldn't jump off his bandwaggon when he would loose), but you say the truth.

On the other hand: You have to be careful for 12 rounds against him. If you get caught by one of his "bombs" it could be over. AA will always have his puncher's chance and up to now it was always enough. Even in his fights that he didn't won by KO his opponents had a lot of respect for his punching power. This is no fake he punches damn hard.

All in all I don't see that Pavlik would be able to avoid AA's bombs for 12 long rounds.

I really don't think that someone in mw or smw can take a "killer punch" like the one in the Gevor fight. Even Calzaghe couldn't take such a punch (but Calzaghe wouldn't get hit like that anyway )

Pavlik vs Abraham would make for the most entertaining fight of all the possible match ups @ 160

it's too bad his promoters are ducking everyone but honestly I think Felix Sturm's the best fighter in the division

Technically, yes, he is, but neither AA nor Pavlik wouldn't have too much respect for his power and so he would have to fight extremely careful. He has no great chin (not a poor one either, but Pavlik and AA can ****).

Indeed it would. Add Sturm as well. Any match-up between the 3 of them would be a treat.

Pavlik proved himself against Taylor. The jury is still out on AA.

Abraham is a good fighter sure. But for real guys. All he has is a nice peek-a-boo defense and a big punch.

He's sloppy. Takes too many breaks. Has an egg for a body.

When he steps up to fight Pavlik, the conquerer of Jermain Taylor he will be outworked and outpointed for a pretty big decision loss.

So please be real. He hasn't proven anything.
                      Agreed. Pavlik via KO
