Mayweather then hit him 5 or 6 more times and still couldn't knock him out, Hatton eventually fell over himself.

No knockout punch, just accumulation, ringpost and exhaustion.

The ring posts are padded, it couldn't have hurt that much... he got punched more harder than when he hit that ring post, your saying it like the ring post was made of steal or something.

mayweather was clearly more comfortable at the weight, smaller man is nonsense.

Mayweather isn't a big Welterweight either, in fact he is a small one... there is only really one inch difference between Mayweather and Hatton.

Now your just clutching straws and making excuses for the Hatton loss, Mayweather won end of story... it is actually against the rules to hold that much so Cortez didn't do much wrong (even though he could have given him more leeway). You cannot make excuses for Mayweather beating him... he shown he wasn't on the same level as Mayweather that night and I don't know how you scored it like that to be honest.

There is a ring there for a reason... yeah probably he would have if they were fighting in an open field without any ropes or ring posts, they are there for a reason... it was a good punch and Hatton shouldn't have left himself so open and should have kept his composure.

my "case" is that hatton's chin is pretty soft at this point.

i never said Lazcano beat him but that doesnt mean Hatton wasn't hurt.

BTW, it's not like Lazcano was tagging him all night......... PLUS add to the fact that Lazcano was completely winded and looked like he was about to go into cardiac arrest himself - he STILL managed to put hatton on ***** street.
