I have 2 opinions on 2 fights.... Tell me what you think....

Banks, who I was not impressed with at all prior to the fight, made it competitive and he isn't half the fighter Hopkins is.

Hopkins is no dummy and knows what he or can't do at this stage of his career. There's probably a good reason why he's decided to chase Adamek over Dawson. Some people thought he was crazy fighting Pavlik. Conventional wisdom was that if Calzaghe could gas him out then the pressure from Pavlik would surely catch up to him in the later rounds and we know how that fight turned out.

I bet from an action standpoint Adamek-Hopkins would be even worse than Hop-Taylor 1 and 2.

Clottey-Cotto would be better by miles and that probably wouldn't be very good.

I dont think there is ANY WAY IN HELL Hopkins beats Adamek.... He wont hurt Adamek, and Adamek will walk through any and everything that Hopkins can throw at him..... Cunningham and Banks could never hurt him with CLEAN HARD shots... Bernard has lost a lot of pop in his punches... How will he keep Adamek off of him.... and Adamek will land SOME right hands... And I think SOme in too much... One or 2 is enough....

On 2 the second.......

If a guy like Shane Mosley can KO a Margarito then Hopkins has a fair chance againts anybody within his size. Anything can happen.

Hopkins-Adamek wont happen. Bernard dont like fighting anyone his size, let alone a good fighter thats bigger then him. This is just a marketing ploy, to get Calzaghe out of retirement.

Comparing Adamek and Pavlik is wrong. Adamek is seriously 35 pounds bigger then Pavlik. Hopkins can get away with some things against smaller fighters but with Adamek he would lose some major advantages.
