Clottey is good... but he is too STATIONARY for Cotto....

He will give Cotto a little bit of fits early... but 5 rounds in after take Cotto's shots to the arms and body Clottey will get worn down.... Cotto's power will take over and he will eventually TKO Clottey standing up... I say the 10th round....

I hate to say it, but Clottey gets whooped by Cotto, and fairly easy...
Why? If you would hate Cintron...I'd understand, he's a crybaby.

If you'd hate Calderon...you'd probably say he runs too much.

If you'd hate Juanma...that would be pushing it, but I could see you arguing about how his fights are always unentertaining since they end so quickly.

But Cotto? Uh, why? Maybe you hate the Cotto fans...especially ever since the plaster incidents...

Styles make fights, Adamek's style plays right into Hopkins' hands really, he comes forward, is a sucker for a jab, doesn't throw many punches and allows himself to get tied up, not good things if you're fighting Hopkins.

And about Cotto-Clottey, Clottey is a big welterweight, a really big guy for the weight class, I mean he weighed 170 against Corrales, Cotto has not really proven that he can beat the big guys in the division yet, the one big guy he fought in the division, Antonio Margarito, he lost. Clottey puts pressure on his opponents, not the kind of intense pressure that a guy like Margarito brings but it's pressure nonetheless, he's always coming forward behind the high guard and he blocks body punches well too. It's a tough fight to call.

Clottey's "pressure" is staying on top of you wit his gaurd up..Cotto doesn't mind going back and throwing BOMBS at the same time..so I think Clottey's pressure game will be exposed by Cotto..

          We'll see tho..
Now I think that Clottey can do some damage with Straight punches, and straight punches only.... Throw when Cotto throws.....

Jonathon Stewart (from the Contender 1, and sparred with both of them), who I met at the Margs vs Cotto fight, said that Cotto punches harder than a mule, but still picked Margs.... I dont think that Clottey can take the beating or shots that Margs took to win.... Margs was a once in a generation fighter that night.... I just see Clottey getting too ****** up to finish. Clottey loses by TKO from a body shot...

Adamek can still be outboxed. He's to slow for Bernard and won't find him unless Hopkins slows down because of the weight and his age. Hopkins power won't be an issue. All he has to do is outbox him like Banks and Cunningham were doing. Banks and Cunningham are both young and started trading with him. Not so much in the banks fight, but Cunningham has a tendency of fighting down on his opponnet's level.

Hopkins wouldn't do that. To much speed and to much experience for Adamek to handle.
Banks was doing a hell of a job... Cunningham was doing a hell of a job.... These are 2 full blown Cruisers... Cunningham was in shape.. He had the body of a Greek God... Bernard looks flabby at 175.....

If neither of those guys hurt Adamek with their biggest shots.. didnt even budge him.... Bernard wont be able to do anything....

It's not like Roy vs Ruiz..... Bernard gets hurt badly in this fight....

LOL Texan. The way you are going on man you would have everyone believe Adamek is some kind of unstoppable freight train. He is tough and durable but he is very limited. BHop schools him and barely loses a round I think.

He is laying out full 200lb'ers.... Cunningham is no joke.... Banks was no joke.... Adamek is too strong for Bernard.... Adamek will walk through hell to land 1 right on Bernard.... I'll take Adamek's 1 right hand to Bernard's 10 right hands any day of the week....

Bernard is 44 and he loses his stamina at 175 like he did against Joe....

I love Bernard, but he has ABSOLUTELY NO CHANCE.....
Cunningham and Banks COMBINED ain't no B-Hop tho bro...

Now I like Adameks chances by his Power and Chin combo..but Bhop won't aim for the KO..and won't stand and trade to get chin checked neither..peep the Pavlik fight...I was in SHOCK! when i saw that ****..Adamek would get frustrated..

Ask Jeff Lacy on what a perfect body can do for you. Bernard is not flabby at 175 either.

They are 2 full blown Cruisers who do not have the defense, the experience, the speed, and overall smarts of Bernard Hopkins.

Adamek will lose rounds.... but there is no way that Bernard hurts Adamek.... Adamek dropped Dawson, dropped Cunningham 4 times, dropped Banks 2 times.... Was the LH champ for a long time.... He is by no means a great but he is a good decent hard nosed fighter with a hell of a punch....

Every fighter gets hit in fights... when Bernard feels a right hand... I dont know if he could take it...

Maybe 2 years ago... but not right now at 44..... Bernard got tired from Calz' pressure... He will get tired with Adamek's pressure....

I just don't think Adamek is that good to be honest. Sure he is strong and will keep coming but you need more than that, you need some great skills to beat BHop. That is what Calzaghe had. Adamek just won't get off against Hopkins. Bernard will fake and frustrate that man out of the fight.
