Did you happen to catch the Hatton-Collazo fight?

How great was Floyds win over Hatton really?

Berto barely beat Collazo and so did Hatton so now all the sudden Hatton is a career defining win? Hatton is the King of 140, therefore any career defining victory over him should take place at 140.

Ricky took the fight at 147. End of discussion. And if a fighter can't effectively fight one weight division above him then how good is he really???

Even Hatton uses the Collazo fight as an excuse for the Mayweather fight. It's like, damn, was he supposed to just run over Luis Collazo??? Collazo has gave everybody he fought problems. And he gave Ricky a helluva problem. No surprise there.

Hatton, imo, looked sharp and ready to scrap in the Floyd fight. That was the best Hatton you'll ever see. And he got knocked out BY THE BETTER FIGHTER. PERIOD!

Yeah i was going to mention the Corrales fight..Diego was in his prime and undefeated(R.I.P.) a win over Mosley would do him no good because a lot of fans would jjust say mosley is shot..a win over Pacquiao, well, lets be honest, Mayweather would come in as a heavy favorite in that fight..i would say Cotto if he had some better wins in his resume like a win over margarito and Clottey would make a strong case for a Mayweather/Cotto showdown but he already lost to Margarito and now lets see how he does against Clottey..JMM's wins over Barrera, Casamayor, and Diaz were pretty defining giving the fact that JMM was the underdog in that Diaz fight? and 2 controversial fights with Pacquiao r pretty good too..But a win over Hatton or Pacquiao would be JMM's best win to date..Vitali is an ATG in my eyes there r no fights out there for him..he'll make them all look easy..Sam Peter is a tough opponent and most fans already have a lot of respect for him for the Lewis fight. When u come in as the betting favorite in every fight that means u have nothing to prove anymore(Mayweather, Vitali Klitschko, Joe Calzaghe, De La Hoya[Although he's always losing, fans still believe in him]), Unfortunately guys like Mosley, Hopkins, Winky Wright as old as they r, they still come in as underdogs (Mosley/Margarito, Hopkins/Pavlik, And Wright will most likely be the underdog in the Williams fight) IMO those guys need a big carreer defining fight, Hopkins/Dawson, Mosley/Cotto, and getting past through Williams is already a hand-full for Winky but after that a win over Pavlik could really be carreer defining for Wright..

            The Kessler win?

Two undefeated champs and giants in the SMW division colliding?

although actually the Lacy win will probably define his career to most

Hatton was unbeaten and at the pinnacle of his career when he met Floyd

and the fact that he jumped up a SINGLE division to take the fight is hardly a basis to discredit Floyd... And it's the only time he's ever moved up! It's hardly like he was overstretching himself, especially when you consider his natural weight in between fights

Some people (I'm not one of them ftr) consider Hatton one of the great 140 pounders - if he's so great a win over him is also great

Mikkel Kessler: Mundine is probably his best win. Mundine.

Those 3 fighters have nothing to prove..probably Wladimir with a win over Haye..as much as i dislike Calzaghe he has nothing to prove..wins over undefeated Prime Lacy, Undefeated Prime Kessler, and a close, razor-sharp Split decision over Hopkins were pretty good eough..Mayweather? the man will always be doubted as long as he's alive it doesent matter who he beats..when ur the greatest of ur time like Mayweather hes always gonna have his naysayers no matter what..

floyd started at 130 so the weight **** is irrelevant..hatton was undefeated and floyd knocked his ass out..great win
