Lamon Brewster (34-4, 30 KOs) will make his first fight for Team Sauerland after striking a deal with the Berlin-based promoters earlier this month. The former WBO heavyweight champion comes face-to-face with Britain's Michael Sprott (31-12, 16 KOs). “This is a new start for me,” he said. “It is an honor to fight for a renowned team such as Sauerland Event. Together we have big plans and look forward to returning to the top.”

Thank you very much. Lamon has the perfect opponent for his first fight in about 8 months. He needs to stay active and fight often to get back to his previous form. What's good about him is that he has that hunger and desire to still be a top fighter and works tirelessly in the gym. That will be the difference in this fight and in future fights.

I don't think Tua is into fighting dangerous fighters anymore. Tua is fighting smart now, taking fights with local guys in New Zealand that will do well locally. He already turned Lamon down a few years ago.

This is a great fight back for Brewster and hopefully, with a victory, he can build on it. Also, I'm glad that Brewster's on the German boxingscene again; I think that the fans there like him and that Sauerland will keep him busy in the months to come..
