It is a payday, and a big oppurtunity on a pretty big stage. It makes a lot of sence (and cents) for Mora.

Victoriano Sosa was not a mandatory (at least I don't think so... his very next fight against N'dou was a mandatory, so I can't imagine they were back to back), and he was coming off of a loss against Paul Spadafora, which was Floyd's second defense of his lightweight title, after his rematch against Castillo.

Mora aint no Sosa, Sosa gave Floyd a tough right IMO, besides Im sure Sosa was rated high at the time and Im sure Mora aint. Coming off a loss doesnt mean alot in my book especially if you lose to another good fighter.
