DLH did in one year, more than Roy Jones in 2. Hill, Valle, Grant, Frazier, Johnson isn't better than what DLH did in 97.

Whitaker was past his prime and a lot of people think Delahoya lost that fight. It was not an im[pressive win.The others you mentioned are laughable. Particuliarly Camacho,Kamau and Riviera. You list them as if that is a murderers row of fighters. Especially at the time he fought them.

Only people that think Whitaker won are his fans and fans of that defensive style of boxing. It was close, don't get me wrong, but DLH won it. Isn't Camacho a HOF fighter?? Wasn't Rivera a top 10 in the division at the time??

you mofo's don't understand plain english huh?

the threadstarter said the worst of the list.

just because all the fighters are good doesn't mean there's NO worst fighter out of the group.

As far as I'm concerened he did more and did it in a much more imressive way. Oscar's whole career is overrated and it looks like most people here realize that.

If Oscar's career overrated then so is the rest of other boxing greats.

2004's Hopkins, not because of talent or achievements, cause he has both in quantity and held all of the belts back then. But he was pushed to #1 for defeating Oscar De La Hoya, a welterweight, I think The Ring just gave in to the hype back then. He was more worthy of the title in 2001 when he defeated the reigning, undefeated P4P king.
