I am not trying to hate on Mike. He is one of my favourite fighters to watch and one of my favourite all time Heavyweights, I just think it is important to recognise the man's limitations.

Prime Tyson could beat Dr. Manhattan.

Better yet, are they ATGs?? Don't think so. DLH lost to Pac, so what. Better than fighting an overhyped Pavlik.
Pavlik only became "overhyped" when he lost to Hopkins. Pavlik is a killer at 160 and he beat Jermaine Taylor twice. He's also 6-2 so fighting at a 170 limit does not make him a "small" fighter. Especially when he struggles to make 160. It's convenient to rip Pavlik now after he lost to a fighter you don't like. Trinidad and Wright are not serious competion but Riviera and Kamau are. Ok i get it LOL

True, but he was still dominating with ease in 88'and 89'. How can you be on a worse list when you haven't even lost? Haha

De la Hoya has Tyson covered in terms of skills, accomplishments and resume IMO, and that is easily enough for me to rate him significantly higher. Mike was, at his best, a damaging Heavy that beat a lot of B-level fighters. De la Hoya is a 6-division champ who beat several all-time greats. That is pretty much the end of the story for me.

What all time greats did Delahoya beat who were not past their primes lol? He lost to Trinidad,Mosley, Hopkins, who's left? And Delahoya has some B level fighters on his resume too.

Well, if we are talking about who had the worst reign as p4p number 1 that is obviously a different issue.

Its not his height, its the weight he's used to fighting in. Pavlik was overhyped crazy when he beat Taylor. Only beats one good guy and people all of a sudden thought he's a future HOF and ****. Either way, he was fighting way above 160.

When did I say Kamau was a serious competition?? I just listed him as an opponent and could of count as a tune up. READ!! Trinidad and Winky were blown up fighters fighting a natural guy. That's how I see it.

Who doesn't have b level fighters on their resume?? You mean to tell me Jones, Hopkins, Mayweather have fought more ATGs than DLH?? Please enlighten me.

Also tell me what happened to Hopkins & Jones when they did face one, that were their size??

That's why I said undefeated still. He wasn't doing too too great with Bruno but he still got the job done.

I mean beating Larry Holmes with KO, beating Michael Spinks with KO, Tony Tubbs with KO, Frank Bruno with TKO, and Carl William with a KO isn't worthy of him being on a ****tiest P4P of the year list. Just absurd. Plus he fought 5 times in 2 years.
