find one case where a boxer was tried and convicted of attempted murder for punching someone outside the ring because his/her hands were registered as lethal weapons. pretty sure we've been through this before on this message board.

i think the CSAC did a ****ty job of handling the whole situation. they waited weeks to hand out the punishment and kept the media and public in the dark the whole time. the "waiting until mid-march" b.s. to identify the substance seems like a backhanded way of saying, "god, i hope this all blows over by mid-march so we don't have to actually deal with this."
I think you are exactly right. They know damn well what the substance is and that's why they suspended him. They want the whole thing to go away before they look too bad. Arum is trying to play the angle that Margarito was unaware of it. You notice he never says his trainer is innocent though.

And of course it's relevant although some posters pretend that it isn't. They have to get to the bottom to:

1: Prevent it from happening again
2: Make sure boxing as a sport will not be further miscredited.
3: Know the full extent of Margarito's cheating and give the evidence to the proper authorities if needed.
Agreed. The only people who don't want to talk about this are annoying Margarito fans. If this had been Calzaghe or Mayweather they would want to talk about it everyday.

We all want to know the truth, nothing wrong with that.
If any thing, you should want to know what was in those wraps if your confident that you boys not guitly.
