Next up for Manny is yet another Mayweather leftover..Hatton.
Wasn't Zap Judah a left over from Carlos Manuel Baldomir, Cory Spinks or Kostya Tszyu? Manny went up in weight and still did very good. He 's only had one fight on 135lbs and 147lbs. He did good enough and still displayed great speed.

Juan Manuel Marguez won at 140, but he was losing most of the fight untill he hurt Diaz. Diaz wouldn't have that speed advantage against Manny.

what herd? I have always thought floyd was a great fighter, Just dont like his safe fight choices. Just seems to avoid anything that he would probably see as challenging.

140 and up he could have challenged himself a little more. It was not a terrible run though Corley was pretty good, Gatti was on a decent run until Floyd Wrecked him, Sharmba was pretty shop worn but was not quite on E the low gas light was probably on though, Judah was alright he fought pretty well on fight night, Baldomir was the linear champ and way bigger but was very limited in skill, Oscar was fairly sharp not a peak Oscar but not terrible, and Hatton was condsidered some kind of threat I paid -160 for Floyd so someone was laying money on Hatton.

Mosley or Cotto would have been nice but at the end of the day it does not bother me. WHat happeaned happeaned and what did not happean did not. Fights that did not happean do little for me.

He could have done more in his career I never have denied that, but what he did was pretty impressive when looked at in total.

the truth is mayweather could clear all of this up once and for all just by fighting and BEATING miguel cotto or shane mosley. getting in the ring with them DONT MEAN ****! he has to win and win convincingly.

do that and floyd will undoubtedly be the BEST fighter/boxer of the last 10-15 years, hands down. duck either or both and he goes down as a PUNK!

I just get the feeling that after the fight people will find a reason to discredit Cotto or any body else he fights when looking back. Roy Jones had a similar thing going on and so did Hopkins. All criticized at some point or another over who they fought. Most of the time in an unfair manner.

Not as if this is some irrefutable proof as to who won the first Castillo Mayweather fight, but:

I actually watched the fight again a few days ago and just take a look at Mayweather's face and Castillo's face after the fight.

Mayweather doesn't even have a bruise on him, while Castillo has a busted nose, puffy cheeks, and a badly swollen left eye. Mayweather simply won that fight on CLEAN punching, not mention his jab.
