I'm not sure if he destroys any of those fighters to be honest. It's one thing to destroy Arturo Gatti but Arguello, Cervantes and Chavez were in a different class.

One could look at the Mayweather-Castillo fights to find a way for Chavez to beat Mayweather, or the Chavez-Whitaker fight to see how Mayweather may have beaten Chavez.

Either way I see all three opponents being quite competitive with Mayweather, even if they did not come out the victor against him.

Whitaker didn't fight at 130 and did very little at 140.

Julio Cesar Chavez #10! This list is straight bull****. The Ring had him at #2 right behind El Flaco Explosivo. The dude that comes up with these lists is straight up baboso.

Nice list. I can live with either Alexis or Floyd at 1.

In the author's defense, Chavez while a great fighter did not have that great of a resume at super featherweight which is what these lists are mainly based on.

The wins over LaPorte and Lockridge were somewhat controversial, aside from that he had wins over R. Mayweather, Mario Martinez and Ruben Castillo.

I agree with you, people forget here, tha those guys mentioned are ATGs, they are no Gatti, Baldomir. People need to understand, that FLoyd doesnt destroy, good opposition like Castillo,Judah,DLH even hatton gave hima hard time till the stopaage.

I think out of those 3 Floyd beats cervantes, And e loses a close desicion or late TKO to JCC and a fight with Arguello is 50/50.

But according to *****s, he is a god, that can be only beaten by a clone, and the clone may lose because he is not the original Floyd, ****ken hilarious!!!!

Chavez is a great fighter but didn't have the best resume at 130. Pacquiao probably has a better overall resume than Elorde but as a superfeather Elorde ranks higher. Your a good poster but you can bank on guys like Hector coming in here throwing a ***** fit cuz there are 3 pinoys on the list that happen to be ranked higher than the people he would like.

I guess that's the problem when you don't stick to a division, and go looking for the best.pete could never realy catch a break

the best in each division pales in comparison to overall achievements cuz we tend to look at the big picture in the end anyway.
