Is Tua the best boxer with the least opportunity?

the only opportunities he had was the lewis fights and maybe the ibf eliminator later on.
if he hadn't run into chris byrd in the eliminator he could have grabbed a vacant belt by beating an old holyfield.
tua was top 10 at heavy for about a decade. top 1-2 for a few years.
during that time he had 1 title shot. i don't know how you could say he had his opportunities.
oquendo had what 2-3 title shots at different belts in a space of a year or so?
andrew golota had how many? even the old golota.
rahman has had how many title shots? including at vacant titles?
ruiz has fought for the wba belt how many times? i stopped counting at like 10.
to say tua has had his opportunities is unfair.
tua has had only 3 losses. 1 was to ike which didn't affect his title hopes. 1 was to challenge for lewis' belt. 1 was to byrd in an ibf eliminator.
those are 2 lost opportunities and 1 title shot.
hardly a lot of opportunities for a guy who was top 10 for a decade.Comment

**** Tua, you have got to feel for Ibeabuchi, you know a guy that would have accomplished something in the division.Comment

he had very good stamina , he had a good workrate , an excellent chin , didn't cut easily , didn't swell up easily and he kept his power into the later rounds.
not good enough for a lennox lewis but certainly good enough for almost everyone else.
obviously i'm describing the tua before he blew up to 250 lbs. though.Comment
