Don't kid yourself. Haye may or may not be deserving but Klitschko needs him. Unless you think he's building some sort of great legacy fighting the Ray Austin's of the world. If we're gonna watch you fight chumps at least fight an interesting one.

The people doing the negotiating now are Shaefer and Finkel. What is ridiculous is people here who don't know what is going on claiming one or other boxer is blowing it. If you have inside information, link to your source. If you don't, stop making silly accusations that you can't back up.

And boxing needs it. The people who keep saying Klitschko shouldn't take this fight, despite the fact that it's the only heavyweight fight most neutrals are interested in seeing, aren't boxing fans.

Dan Rafael says Haye refused to sign the contract after Wlad signed.

Haye is the one who is difficult to negotiate with.

I believe that both sides have enormous ego's. Both men are or where at the top of their respective divisions and I've always viewed this fight as Champion vs. Champion even though Haye vacated his Cruiserweight titles. As a fan of Haye and Klitschko's as well I can't tell you how disappointed I am in both men right now. Haye as the former undisputed Cruiserweight champion of the world has some merit in asking for a fight with whom I consider THE heavyweight champion of the world, Wladimir Klitschko, however it's becoming very clear that there is fear on both sides, unreasonable demands being made, and that money is clearly dictating everything surrounding this fight. Neither fighter cares about the actual fight which, while I pretty much expected was the case, is sad nonetheless.

Both men are wasting both their time and the fans time with this soap opera garbage. If either one was really interested in the contest itself the fight would get made. Haye needs to move on, fight top contenders, and make himself a mandatory. The Hayemaker is now officially a part time fighter, and well Wladimir will just go back to fighting mismatches and fighters whom have no business being in the ring with him. While the rest of boxing has flourished in the early months of 2009, the heavyweight division looks as though it will continue it's trend of suckage for the foreseeable future.

Get the fight made or call it off permanently guys...this is a joke.

                  The contract is still there.

Wlad's signature is on it, they are waiting for Haye to sign. But he doesn't want to fight in Germany.

A Ukrainian website reports Haye told Wladimir he could secure the 02 Arena for June 20, when in fact he could not.

Wlad tried to save the fight by setting up a venue in Germany, but now Haye has cold feet.

Difficult? Haye's gotta fight three times and not even be champion if he needs all three! Ridic man. If Haye goes on to become a mandatory then great, could be better for him. Still hope that this fight happens.
