the sport of MMA has only been around since 1992.
Boxing when it first started was only paying 500-1000 and that was 100 years ago.
MMA's salary will increase in the future.

this thread must have been in responce some idiot that thinks he knows about mma, but the fact anyone thought that mma pays as much boxing just proves what an idiot they are, the highest paid mma fighter ive heard of was fedor when he got one million for a fight, ufc pay **** compared to affliction, highest paid ufc fighter ive heard off got 250,000 a fight ...

you have to say though there are some crazy ass fights in mma and right now heavy/light heavy weight mma is more exciting than heavy weight boxing cause of the two bore brothers!!!

Chuck Lidell is my mom's old bosses neighbor. He has like 5 or 6 cars in the front because his garage wont fit them. Mayweather has just as many cars and his garage fits them all comfortably. Chuck has a nice house and was really nice when I talked to him, nothing against the guy.. I liked him, one of the few MMA guys I could say good things about but yeah, his house is def. not on par with Mayweathers.

Why? 325,000$ is more then some families would make in 20 years.

The less you get paid the more hungrier you'll get.

                    Take Aaron Pryor for example.

Worst excuse used by MMA fans, when they are getting huge PPV buys and the gates are also big why would it matter how old the sport is?

The truth is MMA fighters for the most part will take what they can get, they don't mind getting ****d by the UFC because they are able to get some sort of celebrity with fighting on TV. I don't think all the MMA orgs are ripping fighters off though, Affliction is paying very well.
