This is down the line. Presuming Marquez, Pacquaio, Cambell never return to the 135 division. Other than Juan Diaz I think he has a good chance against the rest of them. If he can get by Barerra (which I honestly think he wont) they should put him in against Katsidis, and if he can beat him then he has the goods.
WOW i cant believe how skinny khan looks!

Yeah, Katsidis would probably be a decent test. This is down the line. Presuming Marquez, Pacquaio, Cambell never return to the 135 division. I've always said Khan would smash Katsidis.
They're different levels of fighters.
And Katsidis is chinny himself, not as much as Khan but not a stellar chin by any means. And Khan is faster and hits harder, and is bigger.
We have to see Khan's chin, we know he has a horrible chin. It's all about whether he has the mentality and poise to deal with that and overcome it. Barrera is the best test, because if he (Khan) gets KO'd by a natural super-bantam, 20 year veteran who is probably 8 years from his physical prime; as sad as it is....he's done.Comment

No ****. I remember seeing footage of Amir's preparation for fights and getting more and more vexed at how it developed. They had a guy whose previous experience was in rugby fitness/training putting him through an absurdly elaborate, compartmentalized strength and conditioning regime, with emphasis on seemingly everything but the functional essentials. The British trainers used to brainwash him into thinking that more muscle=more power=better for boxing. Ultimately that's wrong and it only applies in the heavyweight division. For any other division, it's about speed, technique and movement. Amir is learning that now, hence why the US trainers are removing the muscle and increasing speed and skill. Being bigger isn't always better, just ask Pacman when he fought Oscar.
And all the while, their careers on a parallel collision course, Breidis Prescott was sweating over a rope, a heavybag and a tyre with prescient laughter dancing in his Barranquilla Warrior eyes. Lean, mean, ready to rumble.
Hilarious how such a hyped and fawned over prospect's career could be so amateurishly, shambolically, fuck-awfully managed.
Talk about too many cooks. What a circus.Comment
