I dont see much difference to be honest but i remember before his last fight they were saying they want to shift some weight to his legs which will also help him take a shot according to Freddie. Pac has think calves too.

Yu know what the Amir Khan story is one that saddens me. He carries a heck of a wallop at LW is probably the fastest light weight (currently). He probably has the fastest hands (currently), but his chin ruins everything. He may be able to bouce back like Lennox Lewis, but I don't expect much from him.

I agree with you, he is a talented kid. People pick up on his mistakes and make too much of them, IMO, but the good qualities he has kinda make up for those. Roach is improving him, and I do believe it's possible to minimize the risks of getting KO'd again. Strengthening his neck and legs is the right way to start. If Roach can improve his defense (I beleive he can) then we could be seeing a much better Khan emerging. He is just a kid who's learning. Unfortunately he had to learn the hard way, but he seems determined enough and I think the loss will only make him better.


I'm still on the fence regarding this fight, it's just too hard to pick because nobody really knows what Barrera has left in the tank. I would not rule out a win for Khan, though.

I get what you mean from strengthening his neck and legs, but that will probably help lead to him getting knocked out from a 5 punch combo rather than one shot. I still believe Khan can dominate at 135, but thats only if he picks up Wlad Klits style and starts pecking and moving, or learns how to effectively shoulder rolling.

I wouldn't fancy Khan's chances at 135 against a fighter such as Marquez. Not too confident in the word "dominate", even if he picks up the defense-first "K" style. He would be competitive, I think, but it's too early to tell because he needs a few solid wins under his belt first.
