thinking about his future and deciding whats best for him and his family...the guys face was swollen and he had nothing else to offer..ive seen threads where people call this warrior a quiter..cotto is skilled talented and his heart cant be questioned..exspecially by someone sitting on the couch eating chips...he lived to fight another day..and he's back..cotto and coward shouldnt be said in the same sentenceComment
I never seen threads which said COTTO quiter.
He didnt have nothing left against TIJUANA TORNADO and he fought like a warrior.
Everyone know the quiter is in your AVATAR.
how can an undefeated p4p king be a quiter???you're a joke st8 up..im not even gonna play this game with you 2day..post when you have something intellegent to sayComment

Funny, how it's a true story but in the other thread, you said he quit?
Make your ***ing mind up!
Exactly, as far as I'm concerned, he quit. But he left EVERYTHING in that ring, so he shouldn't be looked at as a "quitter". Than man had the fight beaten out of him, he had nothing left. Aint no shame in that. SavaduflavorLast edited by PRPP; 03-09-2009, 11:43 AM.Comment

You should start a thread why people critize MAYWEATHER for quiting boxing.
Not **** like this cuz Cotto never quit this thread sucks!Comment

Listen guy, he did quit, but I don't criticize him for it. It was a good decision, he gave his all and had nothing left. Aint no shame in that.Comment

Do I think Cotto is a punk? No, he's a very good fighter but some of you have to understand some thing's.
The Mexican culture and mentality is very different that the Puerto rican one. In Mexico it's a discrace to take a knee or throw in the white towel. I'm not saying it's the only way to be, I'm just mearly pointing that out.
Even Marg, after the beating he was taking against Mosley, decided to get KNocked out instead of allowing his corner to call the fight. Some may not agree with it, but it's the way it is.
I'm not saying no Mexican has ever quit, I'm just saying it's part of Mexican culture, which is very different than the Puerto Rican one.Comment

Then his corner throw's in the towel and he still quit?
Come on man, you have to come up with better than that to criticize him!Comment
