I am working in a call center as technical support for verizon dsl man and believe me.... I am speaking to the dumbest people every day... LOL others didn't even know how to spell google or yahoo... .... and no need to say who are the customers of verizon...

Man, reading through some of those web pages of tech helpline calls from various computer companies, I haven't laughed so much in years! I imagine it's the same in your call center. Must be kinda frustrating at times though.

Man, reading through some of those web pages of tech helpline calls from various computer companies, I haven't laughed so much in years! I imagine it's the same in your call center. Must be kinda frustrating at times though.

That's why I agree with *****... that education should be one of the top priorities so that Americans of the later generations can pull everything up in the near future....

I am a member of more than 20 online forums (mostly webmaster forums) and I feel bad when I see someone criticizing someone's spelling or grammar...

On the contrary, I feel good when I see someone trying his/her best to speak or write English so that other people can understand him...

Look at Manny... during his first fight with Barrera he can hardly speak English before the interpreter took over the conversation when he failed to explain what he was trying to say...

Look at him now.. LOL... Though he still can't say it very fluent but at least the majority can understand him... and in reality he is an elementary undergraduate before boxing.... he learned a lot in boxing...

Very good post. I applaud anyone who tries to learn. Many members here (and most other forums) who's native language isn't English often speak it far better than some of the English and American people!
