If you ask me, while both fighters are of the "reckless" breed, its the disciplined mentality Perro has that will take him farther than Kirkland.
Not trying to hate at all, I just dont see Kirkland ever being a dominant world champion.
And dont forget Kirkland is the one who sets the pace in his fights and I dont see that changing. I know u want to believe but Angulo wouldnt be able to keep pace. I think u r confusing discipline and being a slow starter. Hes methodical because he is slow. Julio beats Angulo with movement alone.

      That goes both ways.

If that was Kirkland hitting Angulo instead of Rivera...Angulo would have been laid-out.

Angulo was one punch away from getting KTFO by Welterweight Guitierez.

Angulo will likely lose before Kirkland..especially with those sharp eyebrow ridges..he's always in danger of getting cuts.

Angulo is too slow of hand and foot..and he can't move that big head AT ALL.

He won't be able to dictate the pace when he faces Kirkland..or anybody with decent skills.

Kirkland would kill El Perro. Kirkland is very fast for a brawler.

There's a guy coming up named Austin Trout that will whip Kirkland and Angulo.

He fought once on FNF..looked damn good.

His record is around the same as Perro's..about 17 or 18 fights.
