Of course quitting isn't always a bad thing. I would hope no one would call someone who gave up a life threatening activity such as smoking a "quitter". You could easily substitute the word "quit" with "discontinue" since they mean the same thing but the latter doesn't necessarily draw negative feelings. If I use that term instead you might ask why? What was the alternative? Opposed to "quit" which people will automatically associated with disgracefulness.
And this is my main issue. Thanks bro.

And the poll doesnt impress me. The average IQ is 100, on BoxingScene its probably closer to 95. People like that hold no influence over me.
No it does not make him a quitter. But the fact is that he did quit. And yes if you don't argue the stoppage that says you agree. He had plenty of time to not so much argue after the fact ,but at the least make a statement that he don't agree with how it was stopped. If I were tkod and didnt deserve it i would be pissed. I dont care how it happen. Any boxer on this forum cant argue that. Be looking for this thread to prove that.

I mean people who are on all the internet forums regularly. Its easy to find a lot of ****** people, I am not trying to **** on BoxingScene directly. There are a lot of ****** people in this world, and I cant let that influence me.

I honestly dislike Miguel Cotto(Mainly becuz of cotto fans) obviously he is in my non faves section but i have to say as a boxing fan i'll stand up for him and say he did not quit..Zab quit against Clottey, Rubio quit against Pavlik, Duran Quit against Leonard, Cintron quit against Margarito in their first fight, De La Hoya HAD to quit against Pacquiao..Miguel did not quit against Margarito and no im not delusional i just cant see why giving ur all is quitting..it was the 11th round already and plus only god knows if margarito was hitting that man with plaster all night long in there so u have to put all that in perspective b4 dismissing cotto's rights of taking a knee atleast he took a knee and didnt say anything about wanting to stop the fight deep down i can tell he wanted margarito to knock him out meaning he wanted to go out on his shield but his corner did not let him..Just my opinion
