Wait....so Jones can be two inches shorter then Bernard and be smaller then him and fight the majority of his reign at 175, but Hopkins can't be 2 inches shorter then Pavlik and be smaller then him because Hopkins has had 4 (or 5 if you count the one 20 years ago) fights there?

Is this a weight question? Keith Holmes weighed 184 on fight night against Hopkins. In fact, Hopkins was often outweighed. Being bigger, however, doesn't make you stronger and Bernard Hopkins is almost always stronger than his opponent. As a middleweight he was known for beating up cruisers in the gym.
