Roy Jones "just bulked up" while Hopkins didn't
roy jones is smaller than hopkins.

who the hell said anything about height? we're talking weight classes here. just because roy fought at 175 doesn't mean he was bigger.

can you tell me roy jones was a natural light heavyweight? he was small for light heavyweight.

at best roy and hopkins is the same size. roy is certainly not bigger than hopkins like some have stated.

the only guy one can say is bigger than bernard was milk dud. that's it.

I think Roy is bigger than Hopkins based on Roy's frame. His shoulders are broader and wider, he can carry more and it wont seem forced as it would on Hopkins. IMO.

i don't think roy's frame is much bigger.

though he did yoke up a bit when he moved up in weight.

well my bad. It sounded like you were trying to say that that since roy is shorter, he is smaller. But i get you now. And i never thought that Roy was Bigger then Bernard. I always saw them the same size.
But Roy said he was to big for Bernard. Thats probably why others are saying that.

hopkins started at light heavy and moved down to middle.
way to bend things, hopkins fought at 175 once then stayed at 160 for 10+ years. If he can stay at 160 for more than 10 years then he is a legit middle and not a light heavy. Roy moved up before him, they were the same size.

I know hops has some wins over smaller guys like tito and dlh but **** this thread is biased. What about the majority of his 20 title defenses? of course a lot of those guys were his size.
