Whether you think, he was slow or not. Morales is not getting by him easily. Believe me. Arguello was one of the most consistent fighters ive ever seen. Imagine Felix Trinidad, when he gets into 5th gear and, he is in that relentless mode, and he has the power of a 147lbs fighter and GREAT chin.

In a 12 id pick Morales, but in a 15 round id go for Arguello.

Thats fine man I wasn't trying to have a go at you, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, particularly on fantasy matchups.

people who say morales would get destroyed based on morales' leaky defense and arguello's power, are you serious? morales didnt get dropped in all his life til he was a drained shot fighter even with that willingness to mix it up...ray mancini didnt have a brilliant defense and he went a good deal of rounds with arguello......and he sure as hell put a lot of glove on alexis, who's defense was pretty leaky as well....in fact i like to compare this guys' defense leakyness because theyre so much alike, they see the punches coming but cant get out of the way to save their lifes, lol(kelly pavlik is like this too)......

tha being said, wow this wouldve been a fight.......i think a close but clear decision for arguello because morales' didnt really have much experience fighting taller men.....i dunno how he'd react to that....

He has done it before though (Pacquioa,Barrera 2,Espadas 1. Then again some people will say he lost to Espadas.
lol people who actually payed attention to the fight know that HBO was dissapointed with morales' performance and kinda swayed people with their bias commentary......even espadas' corner knew he lost(told him "you need a KO" in the 12th, "you're behind...'')

Erik loses at 130. At 126 the fight is very close either way. Arguello was great technically, with power in both hands. Erik had a granite chin and a sledgehammer right hand. It would definitely be a war. I can't imagine either guy getting stopped.

Wow! I didnt think so many people would of favored Morales against Arguello in this fantasy matchup.

Im not surprised EM is a tremendous fighter too.

Arguello was a successful 15 round fighter, he could however be frustrated by speed and lateral movement, but because he was a 15 round fighter and, he could ****, he used catch up to most people. He took a quite a few people out in the 13/4 round.
