Ummm, I don't know where you from but go to any basketball gym in South City Bay Area you'll be surprise how tall the new generations are. I see them ranging from 6 feet and up to 6'8"... May be your talking about Filipinos that were born in the 80's then they are short.

It is the milk according to my pinoy friend. From what I understand most pinoys are lactose intolerant. She has a brother who isn't lactose intolerant is is an ungodly 6'1 compared to her 5'0 stature.

i think in philippines (at least back then) people drank powdered milk not real milk.

i don't think there's a low of cow farms in philippines. i could be wrong though......

that's why in philippines you see 5'5-5'6 filipinos but filipinos born and raised in other countries you see lots of huge 5'10-6'0 samoan looking filipinos.
